Alejandro Chavez has been with Monsoon Cafe from day one, since November of 1996. Alejandro started as a line cook, understudy to some of the best Chefs from Japan and Hawaii, Sous Chef from 1999 to 2006, Executive Chef from 2006 to present. He was invited to Japan, October 2010, for a tasting dinner featuring top Chefs from around the world. Alejandro is passionate about his kitchen and the food that comes out of it. He is dedicated to locally sourced produce and humanely raised livestock.
